Little House of Hair in Crown Passage suffers water leak on fuse box | Worcester News

WATER leaking from above a hair salon in Worcester dripped onto a fuse box which caused a small fire. 

The owner of Little House of Hair in Crown Passage just outside Crowngate Shopping Centre called Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service at 11.30am after the fire broke out.

A fire engine was outside the shop and Western Power Distribution was also at the scene.

A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire Rescue Service said: "Water was leaking from above the building which caught into the fuse box. 

"No injuries were sustained and the staff got everyone out quickly. 

"We got a call from the owner at 11.29 and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later. 

"There was smoke inside the building. It was quite a small fire, there was a lot more smoke than fire."
